I don't think I'm exaggerating when I say this training has been life changing

“We have all reflected on how much it challenged our thinking. There were many highlights that were held in mind to help us consider ADHD in our formulations, such as reframing mind wandering to creativity rather than day dreaming, how to accommodate and make reasonable adjustments, the impact on sleep and the experience of restlessness, and whether formulations are focused on how experiences are bothering the person rather than how it's an inconvenience to others.

I have already made steps to link in with someone's mum after he has been recalled for the 5th time. He always apologises and in custody is a model prisoner and is so committed to all the work but just cannot integrate it. I held him in mind when you were talking about people 'who if they could just apply themselves'. I don't think I'm exaggerating when I say this training has been life changing for the way we practise and hopefully will be actually life changing for people we support.”
